I really enjoyed this story and the characters. There were times I wanted to smack Horse and times I wanted to tell Marie what she was doing was not a good idea, but I often feel like that when I'm reading :). The ending made me happy, but I felt it was rushed and I wanted to know more about Jeff and the Jacks. I'm not sure if the author is planning to turn this into a series, but I would like to see that happen. I want to see Em get her HEA Painter?? and it's obvious by what Picnic said at the end about the Jacks "We'll keep an eye on them, this is just getting started. War's coming. , that that storyline is not over. I would definitely recommend this book.
