Wow! READ THIS BOOK NOW!! This book is difficult to review while trying not to give anything away, but here is what Taking Chances did to me. First let me say I read some reviews about this book prior to reading it and there were a few comments about it having a Beautiful Disaster/Thoughtless feel to it. I agree there were some similiar elements to those books, but in no way did I feel like Taking Chances was a knock off of either book. I must admit, I was extremely scared to read this book. All of the reviews talked about how great the book is, but there were some unexpected twists that shocked the shit out of people. I knew it involved a love triangle, but the more reviews I read, the more scared I got. About 19% into the book, I couldn't take it, I HAD to know what was going to happen. So yes, I read some reviews with spoilers (not all the spoilers, just the major one). Please don't judge me, I had to :) What I read shocked me! I think knowing what was going to happen caused me more stress than if I had not peaked. As I read, I anxiously waited for the twist. Knowing in advance did not stop the shock or pain I experienced. It still rocked my world. I plowed through the book and I have to say, I LOVED IT!! I loved both Brandon and Chase. I loved the way they both loved Harper. I loved the emotions the characters made me feel. After I finished the book I reflected on what happened and I have to say, I felt complete and satisfied. I think things worked out the way they should have even though we had to suffer some pain. Molly McAdams, you broke my heart, but allowed me to heal. You took a chance on your readers by giving us a book that you knew would shake us to the core and let us experience so many emotions through these characters. In my eyes, that is what made this book great. Take a chance on this book, it is worth the ride.
